(Mora del Ebro, Tarragona, 1927 – Mexico City, 1982) was a painter and muralist of Spanish origin who became a naturalized Mexican citizen. Trained at La Esmeralda, he developed a body of work linked to Mexican muralism, incorporating an expressionist and deeply humanist vision. His painting addressed themes such as the human condition, violence, labor, and the social transformations of his time.
He was a teacher and director of art institutions, a member of the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana, and took part in major national and international exhibitions. His murals include La creación humana y la economía (1963), at the Faculty of Economics of the UNAM, and works created at the Casino de la Selva, Cuernavaca. His career contributed to the renewal of Mexican muralism during the second half of the 20th century.
